Install XC

PDF Version: Extreme Collaboration Installation
  1. Go to the XC AddOn Beta for SMART Notebook webpage on SMART Exchange.
  2. You will be redirected to this page:

  3. Press the "Download" button to start the installation.

  4. You will be redirected to the login page. At this time:
    1. If you already have an account with SMART Exchange please enter your e-mail address and password and press "Sign In".
    2. If you don’t have an account with SMART Exchange please create one by pressing "Join for Free!"

  5. You will be redirected to this page again, click on "Download". XC AddOn webpage
  6. XC AddOn webpage A window will appear asking you to "Open", "Save",or "Cancel", press "Save".
  7. Save the file to your desktop for easy access.

  8. XC AddOn webpage Go to your desktop and open the newly saved file titled "XC ADDOn Beta." This will open SMART Notebook 11.
  9. In SMART Notebook 11, click on the paper clip.

  10. XC AddOn webpage Two files should appear, drag the file XC-1.1.27.exe to your desktop.
  11. XC AddOn webpage Once the file is on your desktop, click on file (on your desktop) to open it.
  12. XC AddOn webpage Select the preferred language and press "OK"
  13. Press "Next" on the "Welcome to the Extreme Collaboration AddOn(beta) Setup Wizard" page.

  14. XC AddOn webpage Depending on your preferences, install the AddOn for "Current user" or "All users"
  15. Press "Next".
  16. XC AddOn webpage Choose "I accept the agreement".
  17. Press "Next".
  18. Press "Install" to continue with the installation. XC AddOn webpage
  19. When then installation is completed, ensure the "Open SMART Notebook 11" box is checked off and press "Finish". XC AddOn webpage
  20. XC AddOn webpage SMART Notebook 11 will open again.
  21. To ensure that you have installed Extreme Collaboration correctly. Press on the puzzle piece to find the AddOn.
